“Carmel resident Pamela Wagner contacted The Pine Cone this week to describe an incident in the bar, when she said a bartender at La Playa ranted at customers after fielding a question about the whereabouts of former barman, Noe Hinojosa. ”I am sick of people asking about Noe. I am the bartender here now,” she quoted the unnamed bartender as saying. And the bartender said the new owners do not want local customers, according to Wagner.”
